History of Rose Drug Dardanelle
Rose Drug of Dardanelle opened its doors on November 9, 1969 at 501 Union Street. It was owned by Rose and Larry Sparks. Lee Roy Parker was the Pharmacist. The pharmacy moved to 1736 State Highway 22 West on December 16, 1975. Soon after the move, in 1977, Mr. Parker purchased the pharmacy. He owned the pharmacy for 35 years, and then it was bought by the current owners Marsha and Joe DuVall on February 1, 2012. The pharmacy soon relocated to 1176 State Highway 22 West on May 30, 2017.
Rose Drug of Dardanelle has been serving the pharmacy needs of Dardanelle and the River Valley for over 50 years and we continue to strive to meet the ever changing pharmacy needs of our community. We pride ourselves in being your (home town community) pharmacy. Our patients are our neighbors and friends, Our staff has over 125 of combined pharmacy experience.
We have an innovative pharmacy management system to keep track of all your medication needs and allergies. We provide medication reminders when it is time to fill your prescriptions as well as when they are ready to pick up. We complete medication therapy and management and complete medication reviews that your insurance companies require. We have a consultation team that we utilize for immunizations and medical assessments. We have traditional OTC medications as well as a selection of gifts for the whole family from babies to grandpa and princesses to Razorback fans.

Meet The Team
Marsha DuVall
Marsha has over 35 years of experience and has owned Rose Drug since 2012. She is a graduate of UAMS and is a member of Arkansas Pharmacy Association and Nation Community Pharmacy Association. Marsha and her husband of 35 years, Joe DuVall, have two daughters Kelsea and McKenzie, and one son in-law David Meeks.
Kaci Rood
Kaci joined the Rose Drug team in 2014 with over 15 years of pharmacy experience. She graduated from Harding College of Pharmacy in 2013 and is a member of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association. She is married to Preston Rood and they have one son, Statler.
Amelia Whitkanack
Amelia is a 2020 graduate of Harding University College of Pharmacy. She is a member of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association and a member of the Arkansas Medical Reserve Corps. She is a proud dog mom of 3 doodles, Bentley, Fletcher and Griffin.
Michelle Harwell
Michelle has 24 years of pharmacy experience and has been with Rose Drug for 10 years. She is married to Alan Harwell and has three children, Abby, Kaleb, and Blake.
Christy McDow
Christy has been an employee of Rose Drug for 22 years and was born and raised in Dardanelle. She is married to Bryan McDow and she has one son, Nick.
Sandy Johnson
Sandy has been an employee of Rose Drug for 22 years and was born and raised in Dardanelle. She has one daughter, Sydney.
